Module: Hygiene

Report: Whilst Lou is excellent at tidying, organising, washing up and recycling, she has some way to go with understanding the concept of hygiene. We have been disappointed to note that Lou will happilly wipe the floor with the dishcloth, dry her face on a tea towel or eat food several days past it being generally considered edible.

What we are learning: In a decent and hygienic home you use a dishcloth for washing up the pots, a tea towel for drying the pots and a hand towel for drying your hands. Lou has also been learning to only eat food that is in date and throw away food that has been open in the fridge for too long.

Progress: I am pleased to report that Lou is making considerable progress and is working hard to learn the rules of a hygienic home. She has approached the subject with determination and consistently makes an effort to take on board new lessons. Lou has grasped the concept of health well, and understands the importance of hygiene for the health and safety of her housemates.
