Event 25: Christmas with the mad house... again

365 days later and there I was again. Back in the mad house for another installment of Christmas. Sadly there were no snails this year, but we managed to amuse ourselves nonetheless.

Game 1:
Turn any and every conversation into an ongoing game of word association. Unfortunately my mum didn't get it and thought the rest of us had lost it. The typical conversation went something like this:

Mum - ...... kingfisher
Bro - books?
Me - Penguin
Dad - Ladybird
Mum - ignores us and continues normal conversation
Me - We're back to penguin!
Dad - Biscuits
Mum - gives up on normal conversation

Game 2:
'The pope and nine hundred and ninety nine other people live in the Vatican City.'

This game started when we discovered that 1,000 people live in the Vatican City.
Or the Pope and 999 others live in the Vatican City.
Or the Pope, his secretary and 998 others live in the Vatican City.
Or the Pope, his secretary, his driver and 997 others live in the Vatican City.
Or the Pope, his secretary, his driver, his newspaper delivery boy and 996 others live in the Vatican City.

Play continues as in 'I went to market' until everyone is laughing too much to continue. And if you can keep the numbers up beyond 993 you're doing well!
