Events 37 - 41: A vast improvement on the service station

So, there's nothing wrong with service stations. They can be very handy at times. And they've meant we could at least see each other a little more regularly than the Cambridge to Hull journey would allow. We've actually managed at least 5 different ones in as many months and have both re-visited Grantham on separate occasions to marvel at where it all began (thankfully things have improved since the awkward silence over costa coffee). I have to give him credit - the lad's seriously upped his game.

An open-air Doves concert... 9/10
(Initiative and consideration demonstrated; an excellent evening. Follow up bonus points for sending me the album for the support act we both loved)

Dinner out at a very nice restaurant in Grasmere... 7/10
(Easy but effective. Very nice shirt)

Late night curry in Hull... 7/10
(Quick thinking when the restaurant of choice was full. Very tasty)

A surprise day trip to Pleasure Island... 8/10
(Very well planned day, thought of everything. Extra points for trip over the Humber Bridge. Not sure how he managed to convince everyone else to stay away so we didn't have to queue, but very nicely done. Shame about the rain.)

Trip to the cinema... 7/10
(No points for originality but it was a good film.)

Spontaneous walk through a field... 6/10
(Thanks for taking me with you! Points knocked off for there not being a bench half way for a rest)
